Sarah has served as Executive Director of the Maine Women's Lobby and its sister organization, the Maine Women’s Policy Center, since 2003. Laura H. Harper joined the Maine Women's Lobby and the Maine Women's Policy Center as Director of Public Policy in November 2006. She directs the legislative agenda for the Maine Women's Lobby in partnership with the Legislative Committee. Among policies she's lobbied for in Augusta are paid sick days, protection from discrimination for family caregivers, marriage equality, comprehensive chemical policy reform, expansions to family medical leave, and increases to the minimum wage.(More...)

Bonnie Buckmore, Development & Administrative Manager for the Maine Women’s Lobby and the Maine Women’s Policy Center, brings a wide range of membership development, fundraising, editing, and graphic design experience to her work on behalf of Maine women. Bonnie coordinates fundraising events and membership activities and provides extensive administrative support for both organizations. (More...)

Charlotte Warren joined the team in January 2008 as the Outreach and Communications Manager. In August 2009, her position changed to Associate Director. Her responsibilities include planning and conducting membership outreach and communications. In her new role, Charlotte has taken on the additional responsibilities of managing press work, directing online communications, and overseeing the organizations' grassroots, education, and research operations. Kim Fleming joined the Maine Women's Lobby and the Maine Women's Policy Center as Event Coordinator in February of 2009. Kim brings with her over nine years of experience in the nonprofit development arena - where she specialized in membership recruitment, donor outreach, database programming, community engagement, fundraising, marketing, and research. Kim currently assists in membership support, communication, message development, media, fundraising, research, and general board, staff, and donor support for both organizations. (More...)

Anne Sheldon joined the Maine Women’s Lobby and Policy Center December, 2009, as community organizer. While in college, Anne interned for us and worked on our work-family policy research and outreach, she is excited to be back working on similar issues. (More...)
