U.S. Senate Candidates’ Forum on Issues Affecting Maine Women and Girls

Women make up more than 53% of the registered voters in Maine, and women’s issues continue to dominate political debate at the state and federal level.  This forum gave candidates for U.S. Senate an opportunity to address a wide range of issues that affect Maine women and girls, including economic security, freedom from violence, healthcare, and civil rights.

The forum was preceded by a public reception featuring the forum's sponsoring organizations.
