Janet E. Pierce

Janet brings three decades of experience to her position as Administrative Assistant for the Maine Women’s Policy Center and Maine Women’s Lobby. She retired in 2002 from a Personnel Officer position, having occupied several different classifications during her 35 tenure in state government. After she retired, she worked as the secretary for first line supervisors in the Property Management division of the Bureau of General Services, and in several state departments doing reception, data entry, accounting, and payrolls tasks. Janet is an active member and volunteer of the Christ Church Episcopal in Gardiner.  She lives in Augusta close to her three children and five grand children.
